We opened the doors of St Petroc’s Bistro near Padstow Harbour, over 30 years ago. Offering a relaxed experience with a menu that focuses on celebrating the best of Cornish produce, comforting bistro dishes and our catch of the day seafood special. Expect dishes including beef tartare or sea bass ceviche to start followed by a choice of steaks, lamb cutlets, and Cornish hake.
Whether you find a cosy nook in the main restaurant or choose our private dining room, you’re in is just the ticket for a few hours of pure enjoyment.
Whilst we’ve got you, we must recommend factoring in time before or after your booking for a cosy cocktail in Ruby’s Bar next door where Charlie Stein’s very favourite drinks are created daily by our expert bartenders.

Every two weeks, both the charity and menu will change, giving you the opportunity to support all three causes or choose the one closest to your heart.

We’re very pleased to announce our new seasonal lunch specials here in Padstow, featuring a fine selection of familiar favourites from Head Chef Dan. Our lunchtime picks showcase the best of Cornish ingredients.
Look forward to enjoying our Cornish salt coley stew, French La mouclade frites and back by popular demand, steak frites. We’re also serving prawn roll with miso mayonnaise and thin-cut chips and a the rich aubergine curry with chilli, tomato, and kaffir lime leaves.
Whether you’re joining us for a quick lunch or a leisurely afternoon, our new specials are the perfect way to experience the best of what Cornwall has to offer.
All lunch specials are £15.95 and served 12pm to 3pm.
SECLUDED DINING IN THE HEART OF PADSTOW
Our secret garden, nestled behind our restaurant near Padstow Harbour is the perfect spot to relax for a few leisurely hours with a cold glass of rosé and small plates of classic seasonal seafood. Open to walk-ins, all day, stop in next time your passing.
